Happy Friday from my bed! 🛏️ 

After weeks of red-eyes, rollaboards, and terminal power naps, I’m finally hitting pause. No flights this weekend, no standby lists—just a soft landing into my own sheets. And honestly? It’s long overdue.

Research indicates that frequent travel can significantly disrupt sleep patterns and elevate stress levels. Crossing multiple time zones can lead to jet lag, a condition characterized by fatigue, insomnia, and cognitive impairments, as the body's internal clock struggles to adjust to new schedules . Moreover, studies have shown that time in bed, total sleep time, and sleep efficiency are reduced for up to 48 hours after long-haul travel

So this weekend, I’m trading boarding passes for breakfast in bed and reminding myself that even the most seasoned passriders need a reset.
