IHG has launched a new global flash sale, and this one’s worth a look—especially if you’ve got flexibility (and flight benefits, of course). IHG One Rewards members can snag 25–30% off hotels across more than 65 destinations worldwide when booking through the dedicated offer page by May 4, 2025.

The deal is valid for stays between May 3 and June 30, giving passriders two full months to book a spontaneous getaway (or a backup hotel when your nonrev plan goes sideways).

What This Means for Airline Staff

This promo is perfect for last-minute summer plans—especially if you're flying standby to major cities where IHG has a strong presence (hello, London, Dubai, Tokyo, and New York). You’ll need to be an IHG One Rewards member (it’s free to join) and book directly via the promo page.

Because no deposit is required upfront, this deal still works great as a nonrev-friendly backup—just remember to cancel 7+ days in advance to avoid the penalty.

Promotion Terms and Conditions

IHG Hotels & Resorts is offering Destination Deal for IHG One Rewards Members for a Limited Time (the “2025 Destination Deals Promotion”). The below details describe the booking and stay requirements available for IHG One Rewards Members only.   

The “Destinations Deals” member promotional rate “save up to 30% off Best Flexible Rate (BFR) for IHG One Rewards Members” is valid across participating properties and brands in select markets.  

  • IHG One Rewards Members can save 30% off Best Flexible Rate across participating properties and brands in select markets across Europe, India, Middle East, Africa, East Asia and The Pacific, and Greater China.   

  • IHG One Rewards Members can save up to 30% off Best Flexible Rate across participating properties and brands in select markets across United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and The Caribbean (Save 25% across IHG Essential and Suites Collection of Brands -  Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, Garner, avid, Atwell Suites, Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites OR Save 30% across IHG Luxury, Lifestyle and Premium Collection of Brands - Regent, InterContinental, Vignette Collection, Kimpton, Hotel Indigo, Voco, EVEN, Crowne Plaza).  

Valid for bookings made between 29 April – 4 May, 2025 for stays between 3 May – 30 June, 2025. To access the offer, IHG One Rewards Members must book directly through the Destinations Deal Landing Page, accessible through IHG Web Channels and IHG App. No deposit required at the time of booking. Bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance. 1-night cancellation penalty plus taxes applies if cancelled within 7 days of arrival. 

The Destination Deal Promotional rate is a valid discount off BFR at participating hotels. The BFR rate is an unrestricted, non-qualified, non-discounted rate. Blackout dates apply and rooms are subject to availability. Certain room types may be excluded from the rate. Participating hotel policies may vary regarding the number of guests allowed per room. Promotional Rate may not be used in conjunction with other discounted rate promotions. Promotional Rate are applicable to group bookings. Certain participating hotels may impose early departure fees. IHG® Army Hotels, InterContinental Alliance Resort, Six Senses and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts are excluded from the Destination Deal promotion. Visit the hotel’s website for exact details. 

For hotels in the state of California only: guests (IHG One Rewards Members) can cancel a reservation for a hotel accommodation within 24-hours after the reservation is confirmed, if the reservation is made 72-hours or more before the time of check-in.

Bookings made directly through IHG channels will be eligible to earn IHG One Rewards Points and will be subject to the IHG One Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
