Happy Friday from my home in Florida!

It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S.—which means airports are packed, flights are full, and the standby game is not for the faint of heart. I had big dreams of making it to Tahiti, Shanghai, Medellín, or even Mallorca this weekend... but the loads had other plans.

So instead, I’m embracing a rare and much-needed quiet weekend at home. Sunshine, no gate calls, no sprinting to C concourse—it’s actually kind of perfect. That said, if something opens up last-minute Saturday or Sunday, I wouldn’t rule out a spontaneous escape. 😉

Wherever you’re spending the long weekend, I hope it’s relaxing, safe, and maybe even just a little adventurous.
