The sun is shining, the palms are swaying, and the private jets are stacked five deep on the PBI ramp. This town knows luxury, and you feel it the second you step off the plane—especially if you step off a Gulfstream (alas, not my ride… yet).

But funnily enough, the line between passrider life and private jet life is starting to blur—just a little. Some crews are spotting private jet options on myIDTravel, including flights on Platoon Airlines and Air Hamburg. These are real last-minute jumpseats on empty leg routes across Europe and beyond, and word is they’ve been going for around $50-$200 depending on the leg. It's far from guaranteed (think ultra-last-minute, high cancelation risk), but still—private jet standby? That’s a vibe.

If you want to dig into it, check the Travel Info section on myIDTravel and search for one of the carriers such as “Platoon” or “VistaJet.” Not every airline has access yet, but it’s worth keeping an eye on the OAL list. Because if there’s one thing we passriders love more than open cabins, it’s a good loophole.
