Introducing EvenMore: JetBlue’s Latest Premium Upgrade
JetBlue’s EvenMore officially launched on January 28, 2025, bringing an enhanced travel experience for passengers seeking extra comfort and convenience. This new product builds on JetBlue’s popular Even More Space seating while adding several new perks, including:
Extra Legroom Seats: Located in the front rows of the aircraft, offering a more spacious ride.
Dedicated Overhead Bin Space: Guarantees room for your carry-on, eliminating the stress of finding storage.
Complimentary Alcoholic Beverages: Up to three drinks per flight for EvenMore passengers.
Premium Snack: A special treat—Tiny Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies—served exclusively in this section.
Priority Security Access: Available at select airports for a faster screening process.
Early Boarding: Ensures a relaxed boarding experience.
Complimentary Headphones: Provided upon request for in-flight entertainment.
While still technically “economy class” seats, this new offering places JetBlue in direct competition with premium economy products on other airlines, while maintaining its unique customer-friendly approach.

My Experience Flying EvenMore: SJU to JFK
Flying JetBlue on the launch day of EvenMore made this trip even more exciting! Here’s how my experience played out:
Boarding & First Impressions: Boarding was smooth, with early access allowing me to settle into seat 3D without hassle. The extra legroom was immediately noticeable, making for a comfortable seating position.
Dedicated Overhead Bin: A game-changer—having a reserved space for my carry-on meant no scrambling to find bin space. The bins were closed when I boarded, ensuring they were opened first by EvenMore customers.
In-Flight Service: Flight attendants were well-prepared for the new product launch and made sure EvenMore passengers received their perks. I opted for a complimentary drink later in the flight (gin and tonic, per usual) and enjoyed the premium snack: a bag of Tiny Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies. 🍪
Overall Comfort: The extra space, dedicated storage, and small premium touches made for a noticeably improved JetBlue experience! While it’s not a full business-class offering, it strikes a great balance between affordability and comfort.
The dedicated overhead bins are a huge perk
What This Means for Nonrevs
For airline employees traveling on standby, EvenMore has some interesting implications:
Upgrades for Nonrevs: If seats remain empty at the time that standbys are cleared, the gate agent will seat you in EvenMore if it’s available. If a window or aisle seat is free in EvenMore, I’d definitely take it! Otherwise, it may be preferable to have a window/aisle in the back vs. a middle in EvenMore. It’s up to you and what you value most in a seat on board.
Bin Space & Boarding Order: If you’re cleared into an EvenMore seat later in the boarding process, it may still be challenging to get overhead bin space if EvenMore is fully booked. Once the bins open, flight attendants may not be able to 100% monitor who is placing bags in those bins. So although the space is “reserved” for EvenMore, you may still have to find space farther back for your carry-on if you board late.
Amenities: All customers seated in EvenMore, including nonrevs, are entitled to the free drinks, premium snack, and free headsets. Eat and drink away! 🥂
Competition for Seats: If EvenMore is in demand, this could mean fewer available seats for passriders, especially on busy routes like SJU-JFK. Overall, this seems like a great offering, so time will tell if many seats are always left available for standbys.

Nonrevs are entitled to all EvenMore perks on board
JetBlue’s EvenMore brings an exciting option for those willing to pay extra for added comfort while keeping a casual, passenger-friendly vibe. For passriders, it’ll be something to watch—either as an occasional upgrade opportunity or a new challenge in the fight for overhead bin space.
