IHG Launches Visa MEA Offer With 15% Discount

IHG Hotels & Resorts is offering eligible Visa cardholders in the Middle East and Africa a 15% discount on hotel stays through October 7, 2025—as long as you book by September 30 and meet a few key conditions.

This promo applies to participating IHG brands including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, voco, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and Vignette Collection properties. The discount is taken off the hotel’s Best Flexible Rate and requires:

• A Visa card issued in the MEA region

• A minimum one-night stay

• At least one night between Thursday and Sunday

• Advance booking of at least 7 days

• A cancellation window of 7 days before check-in

Bookings must be made through ihg.com/VisaSpecial, and guests must also be enrolled in IHG One Rewards to be eligible. While the offer can't be stacked with other promotions, it does earn IHG points.

What This Means for Airline Staff Travelers

If you’re flying standby and have a Visa card from the MEA region, this is a solid promo to bookmark—especially for trips to Dubai, Riyadh, Doha, Nairobi, or Cape Town.

But here’s the catch: this deal requires a Visa issued in MEA and isn't valid for most crew with U.S. or EU-based cards. And since it’s not refundable within 7 days of your stay, it may not work for those truly flying by the seat of their pass privileges.
