How I Saved €156 in Dublin Using My Airline ID

When you’re planning a trip to Dublin (like I just did), hotel prices can pack a punch. It’s a popular city for good reason—buzzing pubs, gorgeous parks, historic charm—but during peak travel weeks, even standard chain hotels start creeping toward luxury prices.

The Comparison

Hilton has several properties in and around Dublin—including Conrad Dublin, Hilton Dublin Kilmainham, and The Samuel Hotel—but the Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre offered the best rate by far.

Here’s what I found for a standard room:

• €197/night for Hilton Honors members (non-refundable)

• €155/night with the airline staff rate

That’s €52 less per night than the flexible rate and €42 less than the Honors price. Over my 3-night stay, I saved a total of €156—with the added bonus of flexible cancellation (up until 23:59 local time the day before arrival) and no loyalty membership required!

How To Access the Airline Staff Rate

After browsing public prices, I went back and visited Hilton’s dedicated page for airline staff rates. In the pop-up, I entered my airline email address, and then proceeded to search for hotels in Dublin over my stay dates.
