How I’m saving money traveling to London 🤑

I arrived this morning from New York and luckily snagged a business class seat on standby. 😁 

I’m going to sound ridiculous for complaining about this, but those redeyes between the East Coast of North America and Europe can be tough. Between a dinner service and a pre-arrival service, there’s really not a whole lot of time to sleep (even when you’re fortunate enough to have a lie-flat bed). First world problems, I know!

To acclimate, I’m staying by LHR before I head into the city. A favorite property of mine here is the Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport. It’s not anything fancy, but it’s comfortable for a night and I can save a ton with my airline ID!

Tomorrow, I’ll make my way back to Heathrow and then take the Heathrow Express train into Paddington Station. While the Elizabeth Line is now also a great option to get into central London, I do prefer Heathrow Express as it’s quicker and offers a more comfortable ride.
